The door estimator was prompt, experienced, did not try to upsell, clearly communicated all options, timeline etc. The office kept in touch regarding the status of the order and the installer (Rick Dowdin) did a perfect job. I was given a quote of $88-$188 for a technician to fix the spring on my garage door with a free service call. When he got there he said they don't carry springs for my door, and I had to replace the whole system. The choices ranged from $549-$749. I immediately told him I was not prepared for spending so much money since the woman I talked to said the spring would be fixed for less than $200. He said he would see if he could get $200 taken off the price if I did it that day. My husband told him it was a misrepresentation and we would like to get a second opinion and other estimates and he could leave his quotes with us and we could get back to him. The technician said he would not leave the quotes with us and he would work not with us since we refused to pay a service fee for him to come out and tell us that he could not in fact fix our door and we felt like he was just trying to push us into replacing the whole system.

David Sweeney came out, the guy was phenomenal. Instantly knew the problem, told me I needed a new opener, i kinda knew it because ours was 14 years old and sounded like a chainsaw. The price I got was too good to pass up, he pulled everything out and put a brand spankin new one in along with the door sensors, adjusted everything, lubed everything. Super friendly, VERY knowledgeable. I couldn't be more pleased.

Garage door spring busted on a Sunday afternoon. Ed came during the expected time frame. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and kind! He did a great job and provided us with lots of information on maintenance, wear and tear items and his repairs. He was a pleasure to work with! The “Sunday fee” wasn’t great but that’s my kind of luck to have an issue on a Sunday!

Garage door was making a noise in movement. Desired to have a safety check. Saw Precision ads on TV. Selected to use them due to schedule flexibility and customer service on phone. Two Technicians came out -- on time, professional appearance and manner. Frayed cables were brought to our attention, as well as possibly replacing rollers and springs due to age and improvements in products. Very satisfied. Would use again.

DISHONEST! I will never recommend or do business with this company. My garage door would not shut unless I held down the opener but it would open fine. They tech said I needed a new motor b/c it was corroded and new spring system. My home was built 3 years ago. The cost was around $1k. I decided to go inside and call another company which said this did not sound right but for the same solution they would charge me nearly half. The other company came out today. They inspected the doors and found no corrosion and nothing wrong with the springs. The issue was the eyes were not lined up causing the door not to shut. Once they lined up the eyes the doors shut fine. Their charge was $45. It is sad that people would try to take advantage of people so they can make commission.

Technician could not identify problem, which was an intermittent one and was not showing when he arrived. He checked it out, didn't charge for the visit, gave me his card (suspecting, I think, that the intermittent problem would soon reappear). When the problem reappeared the next day, he immediately scheduled for the following day, and replaced springs and opener mechanism. He was very pleasant and competent, helped me reprogram car remote, and properly reprogrammed inside pad and two remotes. The installation is working correctly and smoothly. My entire dealing with Precision was great.
