Precision really is the best. I had a bit of a garage door emergency and they got a technician here in about an hour and it was after normal business hours. The tech was a great guy. The next day, I had them come out again as I needed a new motor. Different tech and he was also VERY good and a great guy. Normal clean guys you automatically feel comfortable talking with. I HIGHLY recommend Precision for great quality product, great pricing and awesome service!

The repairman was pleasant and arrived ahead of schedule. The work - replacement of a small broken part of my garage door - was done professionally, taking about 3 minutes. He then adjusted the door opener force. My only beef, and in my mind the reason I will likely shop around next time for a hopefully cheaper repair, is that at total, it took the technician maybe 10 minutes time and the cost seems to be be to be way out of line with both the time spent and the value of the part used. My hope was that even if i was paying more for a service call and part, that I would learn why the part broke to begin with and why it seemed to take so much force from the door opener to move the door. The technician actually adjusted the tension to less and said with the new part (operator reinforcement bracket), not so much force was needed. He did nothing wrong, but when all was said and done, I felt like i learned nothing as to why the original part broke. I already knew how to adjust the force for opening and closing the door and i am sure for less than $20 i could have bought a metal strap and bolts from Home Depot to repair the door myself. I would guess that at most the new part the technician used would be valued at maybe $25. My total bill was $155 and included a $20 fuel/energy surcharge. Not sure what that has to do with the work that was done, unless it was for the gas the guy used to drive to my home for the repair? One would think that would be included in the service charge. Anyway, I can not complain about the quality of the work done or helpfulness of the technician, but my oh my, the cost for so little work and time spent seemed way out of line.

Service great prompt. PRICE WAY TO HIGH quoted $ 129.00 spring replacement had to replace plastic center bearing bushing maybe $5 part another $ 200.00 got me once never again $330.00 total

I would definitely use the services of Precision again. James , the service technician, was efficient and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me as the work went along. One thing I especially liked was that he cleaned up after himself.....LOL. Oh, and he even programmed the built in remote in my car. Your website is one of the best I have ever used. Keith repaired the garage door opener for $150.00. He replaced the LM Sprocket Coupling (coupler) for $140.00 and then charged me $10.00 as a fuel/energy surcharge. He completed the work in less than 20 minutes. While I was pleased with his work, I was surprised that the part and labor and fuel surcharge was so expensive. I have used this company 4 other times, but now will so some comparison shopping for future repairs.

I was quoted the price of the high end garage door opener "installed" and when I was given the invoice unexpected items appeared: fuel energy surcharge, 7% shop supplies, lifetime Warranty on Belt and Motor ( I was told that I was getting an improve operator that had that kind of warranty, and furthermore there was no itemization for the sales tax ). Over all I was disappointed after being a return customer.

Our service tech was great, he came early and knew exactly what was wrong and took care of it quickly. When we bought the garage door a few years ago we spent a little more to get a good product and it was well worth it. We would def do it again.
