The work performed was competent, and the technicians were as well. However, the technicians sent to evaluate garage doors work on commission. Frankly, this is a very flawed business model. I could understand if Precision was trying to sell me a garage door, but you don’t send someone out who works on commission to assess the conditions of your doors! Furthermore, when I changed my mind about the work that was scheduled, Precision removed the second repair man who came out to do the work and rescheduled me with the same sales person to reassess... The irony of listening to your phone jingle “Precision, a name you can trust” was not lost on me. Seriously?

The technician was very professional and polite, but it was hard to believe that I would be charged over $100 for him pushing a reset button that took all of 30 seconds. Would this not be a courtesy for a previous customer already in the date base? I assumed he did not have the authority to make that decision, to offer such a brief service "gratis", so I did not bother to negotiate. Would the company, on the other hand, make this concession and refund the payment?
