When I initially damaged my garage door four years ago, I searched the Internet for reliable, experienced professionals. I decided on Precision because of their many, favorable reviews. I was not wrong. Their technician then was well trained and professional. Today, I had a technician (John) come out to replace the weather strip that fell off the bottom of my garage door. He was just as professional, honest and efficient. The safety protocols Precision uses for identifying the technicians they dispatch are also a true plus. Likewise, the precautions John followed (mask, distancing and gloves) due to the current concerns with Covid, were reassuring. I will continue to rely upon Precision in the future, for any garage door issues.

The agent was very pleasant and he worked diligently. I am disappointed with how he left the garage floor in a mess and dust on the counter. The rubber insulation on the door bottom was not installed properly .

Thomas was my technician. He was very friendly. He was knowledgeable about the products that I needed. He said the job would taken him an hour and a half and he was done by that time. Garage door repair but had to buy a totally new product. I had a very nasty technician who was very disrespectful. I chose this company because I got to know the company had worked on the door before I bought the house. He even went ahead reporting me to his manager before I could make a report about his unwelcoming attitude to cover up. The company could be good but need to teach cultural competency and anger management to this particular technician that was sent to fix my garage door.

Having just moved to West Orange, one of our two garage door openers was old and in need to replacement. Looking online I noticed the best and most consistent reviews was with Precision Door Service. The technician assigned was Kevin. He arrived, made sure to exercise proper Covid care, performed a safety check on both doors and then explained the motor options with the features I was after. The decision was made, and the work was completed within an hour. Neat, clean, and professional. Everything works great and I’m pleased with the service and outcome. I would recommend Precision and will call them back when the time comes to replace all the other parts.

The technicians were proficient in their work. The installation was completed but I'm dissatisfied with the finishing at the top of the garage door. They put in a 2x4 wood to bridge the gap, the wood was left exposed in the exterior of the garage, i was told to paint it or get someone to put aluminium over it. I think a treated wood should be used, since it is outdoor and would be exposed to rain and other natural elements. Instead the wood used is untreated, usually suitable for indoor use.
