We understand your concerns with the price of our garage door springs, but the other springs you had recently purchased from another provider and asked to be installed were not going to work for your unit. Installing the unsafe spring would have been dangerous and caused further issues with your door and motor. While there are companies out there who might install incorrect parts (even per homeowner request) knowing they won't last their customers, we would never and will never do this. I'm so proud and confident in our younger generation ! Manytimes I hear just the opposite. A tree crashed through our garage roof and damaged our garage door. I called Precision Door, set up an appointment to have it fixed. Received a call from the technician "David Allen" confirming the appointment and his arrival time...he even ask me if I would like him to stop and get me a coffee while on his way ! This young man showed up on time, was as courteous as a person could possibly be. Explained/showed in detail what was wrong with the garage door.
