On time. Very professional. Evaluated several problems and gave me a price. I asked when the work could be done and he said, "right now". Everything needed was on his truck. I was very surprised to hear what ever challenge that came up the parts were on the truck. He worked steadily and fast. The work was finished quickly as opposed to other contractors saying they have to get parts and see you in 2 or 3 days. The door is now working great and quieter than ever. My only problem was his accent and rapid speech. I don't hear well and had to ask him repeatedly to repeat. Still, all in all a fruitful experience. Thank you.

12/14/2016 - My garage door didn't open when I came home around 7:45 PM. I called the number on the door sticker Precision left last time they worked on the door back in 2006. The dispatcher stated they'll be at my house between 8:00 PM and midnight. I didn't care - I needed my door fixed! They replaced both springs and had my door working by 10:30 PM. The technician knew what he was doing, did the job as promised and the price was right.

The tech was very good but charges very high,i don't mine labor charges but arrival charge to.I think 482.80 is a little bit to much especially for senors and DAV'S i had the same work done 10 years age for 280.00 with a 10 year warranty,i called that company back and found out they would have done the same job for 360.00 with warranty.So i doubt I'll be doing any more business with you.

We were told it would cost more to lube and assest the problem than it would to buy a new garage door opener entirely. Wasted money on service call. Had their been an actual repair after assessment we would've been more in the negative. Not worth the money with the prices of this place.

I told the tech that sometimes the garage door won't close (it always opens) and that I did everything I could to fix the problem (aligned the beam sensors, greased the worm, cleaned the sensors window, greased the wheels etc.). The tech spent a grand total of 5 min looking at how the garage door worked and told me that he can't fix anything, that this worm system is bad (really??) and it needs replaced altogether. He said that the grease on the worm track freezes (are you kidding me?? In a heated garage???) and that he would spray a little silicone on the worm even if the worm was fully greased. Then he tried to charge me $60 service charge for doing nothing!!! When I told him that I won't pay a dime for no work being done, he tried to tell me that nothing in this world is free (the little ol' philosopher, with a great view of the world we live in!) and continued to ask for the service charge because he drove 15-20 min and he was double booked, bla, bla. I told him that being double booked is not my problem, and that his office scheduled him to show up between 8 and 10PM; this was not an emergency call and there will be no pay for nothing being done. With a last ditch to get something for nothing, the tech offered to give me an estimate for replacing the whole worm mechanism, which I totally refused. He then told me that this is what they do everywhere they go. When I asked him if he refers to charging a service fee when no work is performed, he tried to do a safety inspection, something I did not request and therefore I refused. Then, he called his office. I told him that i am more than happy to talk to his boss to clarify this situation, but he ignored me. While on the phone with his office, I told him that there's a recording of my conversation with the office, that this recording could be subpoenaed if need be, and that trying to extort a service fee for nothing being done won't fly with me. I even showed him a free service coupon. Finally, he told his office that he would leave, which he did. In the tech's defense, he was always polite and did not lose his temper, neither did I. We said good bye to each other and he left. The tech arrived at the house at 8:33PM and left at about 8:45PM. At 10:05 I received an emailed invoice showing $59.99 cost to tech to arrive at the property and courtesy 25 point inspection, THEN a free $59.99 service fee, totaling $0. for NO WORK COMPLETED. Wouldn't it have been much more customer-oriented for the teck to just say, I recommend replacing the whole mechanism and I could give you a free estimate and then just say no charge for the visit and just leave without his futile try to charge me money??? I was not born yesterday guys! BE AWARE OF THIS UNETHICAL SITUATION!! ASK SPECIFICALLY IF YOU WOULD BE CHARGED A SERVICE CALL IF NOTHING IS DONE BECAUSE THE TECH IS NOT CAPABLE OF DOING ANYTHING BUT SPRAY SILICONE ON YOUR TRACK! *** I WOULD BE EXTREMELY SURPRISED IF THIS REVIEW EVER PASSES THE THOUGHT MINDERS AND GETS PUBLISHED ON PRECISION DOOR WEBSITE! THERE'S ALWAYS THE GOOD OL' BBB AND THE INTERNET TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO ENCOUNTER IF HIRING THIS COMPANY!

Ovy - Thanks for your honest opinion of our recent visit to your home. I regret that we may not agree on a few points. It is very common when the incorrect grease is used on Screw Drive operators, that excessive grease can cause operational failures especially during cold weather. Trevor lubricated your opener with the proper lubricant after you didn't want anything replaced so we left it working. We strive to provide long lasting solutions to each of our customers. To that end, we thoroughly inspect every door and opener that we encounter. That is for the safety and well being of all involved. It is totally up to you as a homeowner to decide if you would like the work completed or not. We disclose our service fee to all customers when they call. We regret that you do not remember that. In the end, we realized that we were not going to satisfy you so we issued you an invoice for no charges. We regret that we did not meet your expectations and we wish you a pleasant holiday season.

Service technician was AWESOME but the receptionist gave me wrong information. She said it was $150 per spring installed. The tech said that was only for the cheap springs that won't last. Cost of the service performed was in general way too expensive! $620 for new springs and door rollers. Are you kidding me? For one hour of work?! Wow, I'm in the wrong business! I bet the parts only cost $100 or less to manufacture. Also, they charge you just to come out and look at your problem. No free estimates in this business. Captive audience!
