Called Precision because I had seen their commercials and then their high reviews. Requested an estimate and the installer (Chris) was able to do the job the same day. Replaced old chain-drive systems (2) with wall-mount openers and replaced many original parts (from 2006). Chris was thorough and professional.

We had used Precision in the past. Response was quick and technician was great. However, I was shocked at the extremely high price this company charged for replacing two springs in approximately one hour. The springs are available online for under $100 each. I was charged $663 for a one hour job of replacing two springs. I understand markups but you do the math and make your own assessment.

We had a issue with our garage door only opening half way and the tension cables getting wrapped around the tension pole. Bryan came out and explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions, even went over options and pricing before he started. Very professional and courteous. I just had Precision garage door company out to look at my garage door.I was expecting having to have to get it replaced…not sure anyone could fix it as the door is 20 plus years old. The service tech Jason gave me both options, replace or repair… he explained both options very well, cost, parts..ect… Jason who was outstanding repaired my door.. perfect..it works better now than it ever has. I called Saturday to schedule an appointment to have a tech come out to see why my garage door was making a loud noise when it was closing. To my surprise they had an opening the very next day, Sunday! Before the tech arrived, I received communication from him with his eta. He arrived in a marked company truck, wore a company shirt and introduced himself. I let him know where I thought the noise was coming from. After his further inspection he discovered an additional issue in one of the springs, which I was totally unaware of. The Techs name was Logan. He was professional, polite, informative and kind. And, In my opinion a definite asset to Precision Overhead Garage Door Service. He went up & above to ensure my door was working properly before he left. This kind of customer service says a lot about the company and the people they hire. Simply put, they care! I cannot thank you enough Logan and Precision Overhead Garage Door Service for everything you did for me! The way Logan represented his company, and its reputation speaks volumes to me. I will definitely share my great experience to family and friends and to anyone asking if I know of a reliable, professional overhead garage door company with knowledgeable techs. My garage door would no longer close. The system is about 15 years old. I had all the springs, rollers, etc replaced and now it performs as if it is brand new. The technician, Chris, was very knowledgeable, professional, and patient. He showed me 3 possible plans, from least expensive to most. Jordan Tompkins was very professional. I knew there were major repairs needed and he explained each part and why it needed to be replaced. He had everything he needed in his truck and did all the work in less than 2 hours. He was very personable as will as knowledgeable. The spring system was old and not replaceable as there are no original parts. The whole spring system had to be replaced. I had been told 5 years ago when it was last repaired that this would be needed down the road.

we had new garage door opener in 12 of 19…..just shy of 2 yrs ago by a few days…we were experiencing issues w it working from both vehicles…so, I read the manual and bought a battery that the book showed to replace up in the ceiling unit....I was about to climb up the ladder to replace it when I decided that I would have to go too high on the ladder for my safety and was not about to have dad try it…so, I called Precision and asked if one of their repairman could stop by long enough to get up there and do it…….. when he got here I explained what was going on and he explained that they had a horrible experience with the makers of these units and had stop'd carrying their units a year after ours was installed……..he asked if I wanted it repaired or replaced and I said "well, we don't want to take that kind of a financial hit this month." he said….."oh no, mrs korte, Precision will replace it with a new commercial Genie unit at no charge at all bc we stand behind our products 100%"……..wow, talk about putting value on customer loyalty!!!........i sure as heck am convinced !! Value $ 1,450.00 Thank You, Precision....and, Thank You Adam Miechle for a great install !!
